Baseball

Our program currently offers teams for boys in grades 9-12. Our knowledgeable coaching staff teaches baseball fundamentals including throwing, pitching, hitting mechanics as well as game strategy.

Season
March - May

Practices for our teams generally begin in January, with tryouts in February.

Fees
Player fees vary depending on the team level, number of games scheduled, etc.

Currently, there are teams available for male high school players in grades 9-12. Tryouts take place in January. Indoor practices for Varsity players begin once the team is formed and both teams begin outdoor practices in March. Games run from March through the end of May. The home field is at Lighthouse Community church, located in Kalamazoo.

Team dues are collected at the beginning of the season and the cost varies depending on the game schedule. All coaches are volunteers and have experience either coaching or playing baseball. The goal is for the players to develop in their skill, maintain positive attitudes and to be competitive with local schools and homeschool groups.
